Focus on sodium and chloride replenishment

NoordCode Performance Electrolytes Unflavoured is designed to replenish sodium and chloride. These are the electrolytes most lost through sweat and urine. Sodium and chloride together form salt (sodium chloride). They can therefore be easily replenished through salt.

Each serving of Performance Electrolytes Unflavoured delivers 1000 mg sodium (no RI) and 1500 mg chloride (188% RI). This dosage is suitable to replace lost electrolytes or increase salt intake.

NoordCode uses unrefined sea salt as a source of sodium and chloride. This sea salt is carefully washed to remove impurities and microplastics.

400 mg potassium as a supplement to a varied diet

Potassium is an important electrolyte that helps maintain healthy blood pressure. Health organisations such as EFSA and WHO recommend a sodium to potassium ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.

Potassium is abundant in fresh plant-based foods, such as fruits, potatoes, meat, avocado and leafy greens. NoordCode Performance Electrolytes Unflavoured provides 101 mg magnesium, 27% of the reference intake. The chosen source is Aquamin™ Mg Soluble magnesium citrate, derived from sea minerals. Magnesium citrate is a highly bioavailable form of magnesium. Aquamin™ Mg Soluble also contains trace minerals.

Electrolyte drink mix with no added flavour

The Unflavoured variant of NoordCode Performance Electrolytes contains no added flavours, as the name suggests. Its natural flavour is, therefore, salty. Dissolved in water, it gives a mildly savoury to salty taste, depending on the portion. You can use it instead of table salt in various meals.
