Pure Quality and Delicious Taste
We wanted a European coffee that contains no toxins or mould and has an excellent taste. After a long journey, we ended up at a coffee roasting company in Slovakia that already won many awards. They believe that partnerships with coffee farms have to be sustainable and always offer a win-win situation in order to last.
We have visited the roasting company several times to taste different varieties of coffee, fermentation methods and roasting profiles. Finally, we chose the Arabica coffee from the California farm in Brazil. This coffee has a cupping score of 88.5.
Ethiopia-style fermentation and slow roasting guarantee that the taste is optimal, without any bitterness or burnt aftertaste. To maintain the same consistent flavour in each batch, our roasting process is a mix of traditional cupping by master roasters and scientific sampling with a roast profile. The roasting process is optimised according to the latest scientific research and European standards. We take into consideration many factors affecting the quality: weather, the temperature of the beans, and even humidity.
The natural processing method ensures lower acidity and more sweetness, with a perfect flavour combination of dark chocolate and nuts.
We don’t do dark roasting, like most commercial coffees, who actually try to cover the flaws of bad-quality beans. By over-roasting, the coffee gets a strong flavour that hides the toxins and oxidation. NoordCode Pure Coffee Light Roast is ideally roasted, and you’ll notice the difference.
We monitor the quality by testing the coffee beans in an independent laboratory.
Recommended usage
NoordCode Light Roast Coffee Beans are ideal for dripping-style coffees. You can also use AeroPress or blend the coffee with NoordCode MCT oil and Ghee.
Grind only the amount you need for immediate use. The coffee tastes more fresh and intense when you grind the beans just before brewing. Store at room temperature in an airtight container, away from heat, direct sunlight, and moisture.
